Bots aren't simply cutting it now a days as players becoming more educated about the game and the mechanics. It's very difficult and tiring having a full team of zombie bots that have no concept of coordination or teamwork. It takes a massive part of the game out it was what made zombies difficult and challenging because of their ability to constantly switch or surprise attack a gen or a group of humans at any moment. However with bots that doesn't seem to be in the cards. I know that you can use nests to be able to get the bots to target a gen however like I said about players getting better. When humans realize there's isn't any other player zombies they get more confident and start to make the game unenjoyable by constantly harassing nest creeps stopping the zombies from making any progresses making the game a steam roll match. Not only are bots difficult to work with maps are also becoming more advanced and difficult for bots to move around. Yes navmeshing is a useful tool but I feel the time and effort that goes into navmeshing could be better used balancing and adding new mutations or weapons to the game. But if the higher ups aren't willing to budge to this idea then at least add more zombie bots to the game. I've had plenty of times where they'd be 40 humans and 4 bots. And to me I think 2 bots per person is reasonable as adds less strain on point flow. I'm not saying we should add double the bots of human players I'm fully aware that Zteam needs to be at a disadvantage in the begging to give Hteam a chance. However what I am saying is that the lack of bots on the first round isn't giving Zteam any breathing room at all and are constantly pushed into the their own spawn point and even there their not safe.
